SRCA Office Closure and COVID-19 Update

Dear Community Members,
In an overabundance of caution and in line with what other organizations are implementing, the SouthWood Residential Community Association (SRCA) office will close at 12pm today.  We will be closed until further notice.  However, business will continue as much as usual. Here is what you need to know:

  • Staff members will work remotely to ensure that you are being taken care of as much as possible with any questions or concerns you may have. All incoming calls are being routed to remote SRCA staff. Residents are strongly encouraged to email SRCA staff members directly. Contact information can be found below.

  • If you are a townhome owner and have an exterior maintenance issue, please email David Walker.

  • We understand that these are difficult times. Collection fees and past due notices during the month of March and April will be suspended.  Assessments for the 2nd quarter are due by April 1st. Any HOA dues can be placed into the drop box outside of the office door as it will continue to be checked daily. We encourage residents to sign up for direct debit or you can pay your bill online here.  If you have difficulty with paying your Q2 assessment, please email Laura SecreastWe are happy to work with you.

  • Community Standards is temporarily suspended. ARC will continue to be done to the best of our ability. An ARC Dropbox has been installed outside of the SRCA office door and will be checked daily. ARC applications can also be submitted via the website, or scanned and emailed to Corrie. The April Covenants meeting has been cancelled and information regard the ARC meeting will be forthcoming. If you have any questions pertaining to community standards and/or ARC, please email Corrie Vernick

  • The Art of Living team is dedicated to keeping you and your families engaged as much as possible. Be sure to check SouthWood AOL Facebook page and open the weekly newsletters for fun ideas.  Lets take this time to show SouthWood all the fun we can have!  Share your ideas and adventures on IG and Facebook.  We want to hear from you.

  • The Tennis Courts will remain open with use of your SouthWood amenity card.  However, we ask that you exercise precautions per the guidelines on the CDC website.  Anything regarding amenity cards will need to be done by appointment onlyl. Please email Alexus Austin to set up an appointment. Please remember to bring with you a copy of your utility bill or your lease if you are renting.

  • The community center, clubs and all events (Spring Fling, Garage Sale and Dump Day) have been cancelled through April 30th.  Unfortunately this too will include delaying the opening of pool season. At this time, the pool will be scheduled to open on May 1st and pool season will be extended to November 1st.

These decisions were not made lightly.  Your board of directors and management team is dedicated to the health and safety of our community members and guests.  We hope you stay safe during this time.  We thank you for your patience and understanding.  Below are links leading to more information on COVID19.
